It is my third teacher training course completed in Anahata. When i have started my journey on teaching yoga class, i found that my students were suffering different kinds of pain (e.g. back pain, knee pain, etc). The basic 200hrs teacher training may not give much details on how to help them or solve these pain issues. Previously, I used to avoid on what they should not do during the class rather than what they should do more. That's why i decided to take the 300hrs yoga therapy teacher training course. This course not only explained focusing on common injuries / pain problems nowadays, also taught Ayurveda & healthy life style to show the full picture on how yoga therapy can help the special need student.

Overall I found this course very interesting and I managed to learn a lot of topics on how to teach kids, kid’s anatomy so I think it was designed appropriately. I also enjoyed getting to know and practice different poses with my fellow students during the 3-hour sessions. I think the only area we did not cover in detail was how yoga can help kids in various kinds of sports. Also what was very helpful was the opportunity to observe the kids’ yoga classes at the studio taught by our Masters as well.

This has been an eye-opening three months journey. I have decided to commit to this course also during my 300hrs Meditation Coaching Training Course.
